Air Condtioning
Air Conditioning is again a very wide and varied market place however William Bailey are able to tailor a scheme to suit each individual clients specific requirments. A few typical examples involve the following options :-
William Baileys also become involved with chilled water installations incorporating either screw or reciprocating chiller plant where they are used in larger commercial applications such as hotels and offices.
The advantage of these systems is that as per wet heatng installations common plant can be untilised. This generally comes in the form of pressurisations unit, buffer vessel, pump set and traditional steel pipework.
These systems can then be used to control a multitude of areas off 4-port zone control valves linked to individual unit / space thermostats. These systems typically utilise the same types of units as the dx split systems, however rather than being served by refrigerant they are served from chilled water at approximately 12°c. The balance between the chilled water and wet heating system is then achieved via the individual 4-port control valves which modulate to provide the required room conditions.

- Floor mounted upflow units
- Ducted ceiling void fan coil units
- Close control computer / server room units
- VRV (variable refrigerant volume systems) often used in larger office / hotel environments due to their grouping benifit and inverter
